CLEMENT GARCIANO MAUREAL
September 24, 1981 - August 23, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Clement Garciano Maureal, who passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 42. Born on September 24, 1981, in Cebu City, Philippines, Clement was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend.
Clement spent his early years in Cebu City, where he was born to his parents, Cesar M. Maureal and Myrnaflor L. Garciano. At the age of 15, he moved with his family to Korea before eventually settling in California at the age of 18. He pursued his education at San Jose State University, where he graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and a Minor in Asian Studies.

On June 28, 2014, Clement married the love of his life, Elisa Maureal. Together, they created a beautiful family, raising their children Nadya, Annalisa, and Emilio.  As a family they enjoyed traveling, and discovering new places to visit, especially places by the beach. He was a true islander and loved being by the water. Clement is also survived by his mother, Mae Maureal and father, Cesar Maureal; his sister, Louvain Maureal; his brother, Anthony Maureal, and his many relatives, friends and loved ones who will cherish his memory.

Clement had a long and successful career in retail, merchandising, and sales, where his dedication and expertise were widely recognized. In 2015, he relocated with his wife and children to Texas, where he continued his professional journey and built a life filled with love and laughter. Known for his generous spirit, Clement had a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He loved good food and always knew the best places to eat.

A true fan of the Raiders and the Golden State Warriors, Clement found joy in the simple pleasures of life - from sharing fireworks as a child in Cebu at Christmas to sharing his love for his classic 1954 Bel-Aire Chevy, affectionately known as "Old Lady." Despite his shy nature growing up, Clement earned a black belt in Taekwondo and often shared stories of his childhood generosity, especially how he would share his food with less fortunate children.

Clement's generosity extended far beyond his immediate circle, and he was known for his kindness and willingness to help others. especially the street children of his home city in Cebu, Philippines He loved spending time with his family and friends and was always ready to share his love, food, and time with those around him. As an adult, Clement could talk to anyone, bringing warmth and laughter wherever he went. Clement will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of those he touched and loved.
