Christopher Mark Deuillet

Christopher Mark Deuillet, 56, of Plano, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026. Born on August 3, 1970, in Tokyo, Japan, Chris lived a life defined not by what he accomplished for himself, but by the love, kindness, and unwavering devotion he gave to those around him.

Chris was the beloved husband of Sara Deuillet, with whom he shared 27 years of marriage. Together, they built a home centered on faith, family, and love. He adored Sara and was deeply proud of the life they created together. He was also a devoted father to their sons, Spencer and Jackson, whom he loved beyond measure.

To know Chris was to know a man who showed up. When his boys were young, he coached their soccer teams, and throughout their lives, he never stopped showing up for the moments that mattered. He could be found on the sidelines at games, in the audience at band concerts, and wherever else his sons needed him. His presence was one of the greatest ways he expressed his love.

Chris taught his sons many lessons, but perhaps none more important than how to treat other people. He was patient and slow to anger, meeting others with grace and understanding. He was the kind of person who listened, not simply waiting for his turn to speak, but genuinely interested in the person in front of him. Conversations with Chris had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued.

As a real estate broker, Chris conducted his business with the same integrity that defined his life. He treated people with honesty and respect and built relationships that went far beyond business. Despite his many accomplishments, Chris never boasted about them; his humility was quiet and genuine.

Chris also had an unmistakable sense of humor. He loved quoting Seinfeld with his sons, often turning an ordinary moment into one that left everyone laughing until their cheeks hurt. He had a gift for bringing people together and making them feel at home.

Outside of work and family, Chris enjoyed golfing, playing in an adult soccer league, being on the lake aboard the family boat, and spending time with friends and family. Some of his happiest memories were made at his family's cabin in Canada, where he and his loved ones returned every summer to enjoy the lake, the outdoors, and time together. He also enjoyed travelling across the states as well as internationally with his family.

Chris was a graduate of Baylor University, where he earned his degree in Journalism, and later earned his Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington. Chris leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured by titles, degrees, or accomplishments. His legacy lives in the family he loved so fiercely, in the people he helped without expecting anything in return, in the respect he showed to everyone he encountered, and in the countless lives made better simply because he was a part of them.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, a faithful and exemplary man, and a loyal friend. He taught those around him that strength does not need to be loud, that success does not need to be celebrated, and that a meaningful life is built through the everyday choice to love, serve, and show up for others.

Chris is survived by his wife, Sara; his sons, Spencer and Jackson; his parents, Elizabeth and George; and his brothers, George and Eric, along with extended family and countless friends who were fortunate to know and love him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered—not only for the life he lived, but for the way he made others feel while he was here.
