In Loving Memory of Christian Scott Nussbaumer

June 24, 1960 – June 4, 2025

Chris Nussbaumer, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, was lovingly received into the arms of Jesus on June 4, 2025. Chris was born on June 24, 1960, in Nashville, Tennessee to Andre and Helen Nussbaumer. He will be remembered by his devoted wife Candy, his daughters Chelsea Nussbaumer, Caitlin and husband Brett Davis, Claire Nussbaumer and fiancé Mitch Cooper. His memory will also be cherished by his siblings Martine and husband Mike Simpson & Samuel Nussbaumer and wife Cindy Long, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends whose lives he touched.

Deep-rooted faith in Jesus and commitment to the Marines and the Masonic Lodge were the foundations of his life. Those who knew Chris will remember how he lived - with love, light-heartedness, and laughter.

More than anything, Chris loved his family and his dog Heidi. He was a proud dad and husband, always showing up with open arms and a smile. He had a gift for making people laugh, giving advice, and grilling. He will be remembered most for his sense of humor, generosity and love of travel. His favorite trip was in 2022 to Switzerland with his entire family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, on what would have been his 65th birthday from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Via Real, 4020 N. MacArthur Blvd. #100, Irving, Texas 75038. Attendees are encouraged to wear his favorite color, blue.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing Chris is now at peace in the presence of his Savior and his parents. His legacy of family, faith, and life well-lived will forever be in our hearts.
