On Monday, March 31, 2025, Charles Bradley Harris died suddenly from a tragic accident. Nothing said could ever be good enough to express our love or our sense of loss.

Charlie was born in Tyler, Texas on June 10, 1987. In the early 1990s his family moved to Lewisville, Texas, where he grew up and attended school. Later Charlie attended Welding school and became one of the greatest welders that ever lived (well, maybe not that ever lived, but he was very good and he was proud of that). He loved the job and the comradery with the men he worked with and he made many close friendships that lasted through the years and until his untimely death.

On the outside, Charlie could look pretty intimidating; he was a big burley guy with tattoos who rode a motorcycle. But if you knew Charlie well, you knew he wasn't so scary. Charlie would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it. He had a heart for the homeless and did everything he could to make them feel heard and respected. He would take them food and sit and have great conversations with them. Later when he had children, he would teach his boys the importance of treating all people kindly and with respect. Charlie also had a love for animals and nature; he loved camping and fishing and the quiet that could be found there. He had a love of music and playing guitar. He loved reading and he instilled that same love in his boys as well. He was struck with wanderlust and had traveled the entire country and was always looking for new places to explore.

Charlie was a fun dad who loved wrestling and playing games with his boys. He loved taking them fishing and teaching them about the great outdoors. He built forts with them and laid in the floor to play with cars or Legos or whatever they liked; he was just a kid at heart – he loved to laugh and loved to make his boys laugh.

Charlie met his wife, Kimberly Perez Harris, in Florida when visiting his sister, Brandi. He borrowed his brother-in-law's motorcycle and while stopped at a gas station filling up the tank, he started up a conversation with her and the rest, as they say is history. Charlie is survived by his wife, Kimberly and their two sons; Knox Wendell Harris (9) and Jackson Edward Harris (6). Also by his mother, Teresa Stone and his sisters, Brandi Nicole Fleming and Emily Ann Redlinger. And by many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends. Charlie was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Father and unborn baby son, Max Wyatt Harris.

Charlie will be greatly missed but his family rejoices in knowing that he is now with the Lord.
