Carolyn (Winky) Stuples, a most beloved, cherished, adored Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt, passed away on December 6, 2025 in Lewisville Texas, at the age of 67.

Born on May 18, 1958 in Gatesville, Texas, the first daughter of Clifton Little, Jr and Emiko (Wada) Little, Winky's life was a life filled with love, family, joy and happiness.

She is preceded in death by both her parents, as well as one of her elder brothers, James Little, who passed in this same year.  She loved them tremendously.  She is also preceded in death by the love of her life, Paul Bozewicz, who she spent over a decade adventuring through life with.

Blessed with a loving family, Winky is survived by her son Darryl and his son Khylor.  She is also survived by her older brother David, her three younger sisters, Kimberly Castor, Melanie (Bo) Hickman and Dorthy (Duber) Murray, as well as remarkable brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and their growing families.

Winky's love of family and devotion to her friends was the hallmark of her life.  She shared a brief marriage to Mike Stuples of Lawton Oklahoma with whom she had her son, Darryl (Michael, Jr).  Even after divorce, she maintained a life-long friendship with Mike, and cared deeply for her in-law Stuples family.

Winky's dad, Clifton, was a career Army service member, and was stationed at Fort Hood Texas, when she was born in Gatesville Texas.  As such she proudly carried the distinctive title of Army Brat with great dignity and honor.  She attended many different schools during her life and spent her favorite years in Oberammergau, Germany where she developed several life-long friendships with other Army brats. She ultimately attended Eisenhower High School in Lawton, while her dad was stationed at Fort Sill.  Her mother, Emiko, was a Japanese immigrant from the area of Osaka Japan.

She was given her nickname Winky by her father and the name just seemed to stick with her all her life.  She heard the name "Aunt Winky" shouted out to her as often as she heard "Mom" and "Gramma".  She adored every title.

During her life she worked several jobs in various locations. She developed another nickname "CJ" during her working hours.  She spent some time in Amarillo Texas working at a Chevrolet dealership.  After a few years there, she moved to Lewisville, Texas where she worked several jobs. She dedicated many years at Nissan Motor Acceptance Company until retirement. Afterward, she spent a few years taking care of her mother Emiko until she passed in 2019.  After Mom passed, she started post-career work as a Team Lead at Walmart where she worked until her death.

She wore her love and care like a badge of honor.  Winky was always going on about her family, especially her son and grandson, who she loved to watch play in sports and orchestra.  She was so very proud of them as well as all her nieces and nephews. She was a very fulfilled mother, grandma, and aunt.  She loved everyone she had the pleasure of knowing and working with, and she would do everything in her ability to support those around her.  She enjoyed hobbies like Sudoku and crosswords puzzles, in addition to artistic activities, coloring, painting, and she recently took up counted cross stitch.  She enjoyed discussing the work of heartthrob actor Brandon Sklenar with fellow fans.  Her favorite pastime was spending time with her beloved boys Darryl and Khylor.

She is dearly loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.
