Carol was born in Wayne, Michigan to Ronald Leroy Antaya and Nancy Carol Crawford on June 28, 1966. She graduated from Woodhaven High School in Woodhaven, Michigan in 1984. The day after she graduated high school she moved to Texas and has been a resident ever since.

Carol held a variety of jobs throughout her life. She worked in accounts receivables for various different companies. Her most recent job was working as a customer service representative for Transcom, assisting customers with Apple support needs. The role she was most proud of was selling jewelry for Paparazzi Accessories. She sold under her friend Kim Teamer and through that experience she was able to connect with her community. She would sign up to work various craft fairs in Lewisville. Her favorite clients were the women at the active adult and assistive living facilities. Her daughter Lindsey would sometimes assist her with going live on Facebook to sell the jewelry. Her live streams gave her the opportunity to connect with friends she had not spoken to in a while. This time in her life brought her joy and gave her a sense of purpose outside of being a mom.

Carol was a proud Christian. She grew up in the church and was baptized at a young age. It was important to her to raise her family in the church and she volunteered in different capacities when her children were growing up.

Carol's biggest accomplishment in life was being a mom. Her children were her world. Her favorite days were spent around the dinner table laughing and sharing a meal with her mom and kids. She made the best homemade chocolate chip cookies. It was a good day when mom made them or her famous chicken spaghetti or goulash.

Carol is preceded in death by her twin boys William and Robert, her parents Ronald and Nancy, and sister Rhonda. She is survived by her daughters Brittany, Kelsey (husband Steven), Lindsey (husband Brennan) and her son Brandon; sisters Johana, Kathy (husband Rex) and Kelly and best friend Michele. She is also survived by her nieces Stephanie, Megan and Sarah and nephews Michael, Ronald, Jerry, Harry, Norman and JayDee. Carol did not have the opportunity yet to become a Grandma, but she was a proud Gigi to her granddoggies Lilo and Lola, and her grand kitties Stella and Max and leaves behind her dog Jax.

A visitation will be held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral home in Lewisville, TX on Thursday, May 14 from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The memorial service will follow directly after the visitation from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
