Carl E. Michelson, 76, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away suddenly Friday, September 25, 2026. He was born July 22,1950 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Nettie (Thrasher) Michelson and Roy Michelson. Carl was a proud member of the U.S. Navy for 26 years. Carl also really enjoyed his 30 year career as an engineer at Raytheon.

Carl was the husband of Laura (Heidenreich) Michelson for 42 years. Father of Robert Michelson (Chastity Hamer) and the late Jennifer (Michelson) DeAtley. Father-n-law to Gregg DeAtley. Grandfather of Waylen and Juna DeAtley. Brother of Leif Michelson and the late Eric Michelson. Brother-in-law to Susan (Heidenreich) Nelson and Brother-in-law to Dan Nelson and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Carl loved the ocean, the woods, nature and all animals.
