Bryan Charles Johnston, 68, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2024. He was born on October 21, 1955.

Bryan was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bryan married the love of his life, Rebecca Sue Johnston, on July 17, 1981. Their love and commitment to each other were evident throughout their 43 years of marriage.

Bryan is survived by his wife, Rebecca Johnston, and their three children: Jeff [Natalia] Lewallen, Jason [Lauren] Johnston, and Jennifer Johnston.

Bryan is also survived by five beautiful grandchildren: Jordin, Iliana, Samuel, Rylee, and Brody. Additionally, Bryan is survived by his brothers, Bobby Dean [Lisa] Johnston, and Mark Lynn [Christy] Kannady.

Bryan was preceded in death by his brother, John Edward Kannady, his father, Charles Dean Johnston, and his mother, Juanita Rose Kannady.

Bryan's love for his family, especially his grandchildren, was the light of his life and often the remedy that lifted his spirits.

A dedicated member of his community, Bryan attended First Baptist Church in Lewisville, where he served faithfully as an ordained deacon. His commitment to his faith and his church family was unwavering. Additionally, Bryan was a proud 32nd degree Freemason of the Scottish Rite, exemplifying the principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth. Bryan will be remembered for his warm heart, generous spirit, and the profound love he had for his family. His legacy of kindness and dedication will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.

The family will receive friends and family at a visitation service on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 6:30 PM at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, located at 740 S. Edmonds Lane, Lewisville, Texas 75067 (972) 436-4581.

A funeral service to celebrate Bryan's life will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Lewisville, located at 1251 Valley Ridge Blvd, Lewisville, TX 75077.

Bryan's family extends their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. His memory will forever live in our hearts.
