Brian Wayne Cline, 60, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at home, surrounded by his family and friends, in Lewisville, Texas. He was born on April 8, 1966, in Denton to Jerry Cline and Donna Clark. He graduated from Lewisville High School in 1985. He married Cheri Blankenship (Cline) in 1987 and was married for 39 years. In his early years, he worked as a landscaper for Cline Landscaping Company. In 1992, he obtained a license and certification in Aviation Airframe and Powerplant mechanics from Texas Aerotech. He worked at Red Bird Airport as an aircraft mechanic and maintenance personnel, and then for Allied Aviation at DFW Airport, where he retired.

The sport of football is what brought him joy. Whether it was watching, listening, or coaching, he loved every minute. He was a part-owner and die-hard fan of the Green Bay Packers for many years. He was there in front of his TV to cheer for the Cheese on Sundays. Not only did he love watching football, but for 33 years, he coached hundreds of young men who played in the Lewisville Football Association. Many of those players have gone on to play collegiate and professional football. His passion was to instill basic football skills, as well as the characteristics of discipline, teamwork, and dedication, in those who played for him. His mantra was, "Heart. Intensity. Teamwork."

One of his favorite hobbies was playing billiards with friends across North Texas leagues. Brian won numerous accolades and was invited to play in a national tournament in Las Vegas. He was associated with the Texas Amateur Pool leagues in North Texas for several years. He never met a stranger while shooting pool, making lifelong friends along the way. He won multiple MVP awards and played several times at the Super Billiards Expo, TAP Nationals in Dallas and Tennessee. He played in the BCA league in Denton and strived to make it to the ACS State Tournament.

Drawing and sketching were another of Brian's hobbies that many people came to know. His artwork has been given to people whose paths crossed with him throughout the years, and these pieces are representations of Brian's vision and perspective. He wanted those who saw and interacted with his work to connect with it in a way that brought joy and clarity. His legacy and memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

Brian is survived by his wife, Cheri Cline; their two sons, their spouses, and their adopted niece: Cody and Rebecca Cline; Dusty Layne and Terri Cline; and Teagan Cline. He is also survived by his grandchildren, McKinley Cline, Amelia Cline, Josephine Cline, Hadley Cline, and Bentley Cline; his mother, Donna Clark; and his siblings: Mika Clark (spouse Sheila), Kevin Cline, and Shea Reeves (spouse Todd), as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Cline; his maternal grandparents, Grady and Josephine Hester; his paternal grandparents, Jack O. and Gladys Cline; his brother, Scott Cline; his sister, Tiffany Cline; his uncles, Robbie Cline and Stanley Cline; and his aunt, Darenda Cates, along with many other family members.

Our family and friends will carry forward Brian Wayne Cline's memory. He will be remembered for the love he shared, his teachings, his morals, and his strength.
