Boyd Gleen Kirby age 82 died May 1, 2026. He and his twin sister Joyce Evelyn Kirby were born in Sanger, Texas to Marvin Border Kirby and Ruby Sons Kirby. He married Gail Thompson on 11/15/1963 and was married for 62 years.

Preceded in death by his parents, twin sister Joyce Evelyn Kirby Heath, sister Eunice Kirby Graham, brother Harold (Hairly) Kirby, brother Jimmy Lee Kirby and his favorite coon dog Jack.

Survived by sister Betty Jo Kirby Moseley, wife Gail Kirby, daughters Kristi Kirby Barnes and husband Wayne Barnes, Karen Kirby Shore and husband J C Shore, grandchildren Ashley Barnes, Jacob Barnes and wife Lexi Barnes, Natalie Barnes, Rachel Shore, Sarah Shore Shafto and husband Morgan Shafto.  Boyd adored his grandchildren.  He raised the best tomatoes and enjoyed his garden. He was a welder.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2026, 11:00 am, at Mulkey-Mason Chapel, Lewisville, Texas. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. The burial will be immediately following at Flower Mound Cemetery, Flower Mound, Texas.
