Bobby Dale Pierce, age 79, of Lewisville passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, at Medical City Hospital.  He was born November 16, 1944, in Archer City, Texas to Ted and Ada Pierce and graduated from Rider HS in Wichita Falls.  He also attended Midwestern University in Wichita Falls.  He was proud to serve in the US Air Force from 1966 to 1970.  He married Sandra M. Ekern on June 3, 1967 in Wichita Falls.  They lived in Nebraska, California, Louisiana and returned to Texas in 1979.  They were happily married for 57 years.

He was a computer engineer and worked for Collins Radio, Digital Equipment Corp, MCI, Daltile and Lee Lighting over the course of his career.  He loved camping, traveling and fixing things.  He especially loved when the kids asked him to help repair something.

He is survived by his wife Sandra and son Stephen and wife Tammy and son Mark and wife Stephanie and 4 grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary, Jordan and Alexa.  He is also survived by his sister Nathala Moody and nephew Ronnie Carroll.  Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Ted and Ada Pierce and brother Ted Pierce Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10am Tuesday April 16, 2024, at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville.  Interment will be at DFW National Cemetery on April 22.  The family will receive friends from 9 to 10am Tuesday prior to the service at 10am.
