Betty Ann (Furner) Attwood-Cox of Lewisville Texas died December 23, 2024, at age 63, she was born June 9, 1961, in San Antonio TX to Carole and Thomas Furner. Betty grew up a military dependent spending much of her youth living at various Air Force bases both in the U.S and Germany.  Graduating high school from Berlin Germany in 1979.  It's no surprise Betty ended up working in the travel industry most of her adult life concluding these past 17 years at the Gaylord Texan Resort.  She was as an avid bowler, Betty spent several decades with leagues at AMF of Lewisville many years bowling with Friday Fellowship on Friday Nights and proudly spent many years volunteering with the Lewisville special Olympics organization with her special needs daughter.

Betty was predeceased in death by her husband's Dennis Cox of 22 years passed away on September 21, 2022 and Robert "Bobby" Attwood Jr. of 6 years passed away on December 17, 1996, her mother Carole Ann Furner, and many other loved ones including an unborn grandchild who she can love on for her daughter.

Betty leaves behind her two daughters Carole Katherine Cox of Lewisville and Jessica Ann (Attwood) Bradley also of Lewisville, her son in law Cody Bradley, grandson Jameson, and granddaughter Kinsley.

Betty is survived by her father Thomas Furner retired USAF, sisters Karen (Bruno) Hughs, Janet Furner, Linda (Terry)Troutman and brother Richard (Renee) Furner.  Along with four nieces, a nephew, three great nephews, and soon to be great niece, numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Services will be held at Saint Philips the Apostle Church on Saturday  January 25th at 11 am 5201 Cross Timbers Rd., Flower Mound, TX. Inurnment will follow in the Flower Mound Cemetery.
