Barbara Aly, age 95, a Lewisville resident of 67 years, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at her residence in Frisco.  She was born October 15, 1928, in Supulpa, Oklahoma to James Burchett and Thelma Medlock. She married Bill Aly on January 31, 1947, in Dallas.  Barbara, a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Lewisville, taught Sunday School and sang in the choir.  Barbara was employed in the Lewisville ISD for almost 20 years.

She is survived by her only child Debra Spagnolo and son-in-law Mark; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Aly, her parents and a step-brother.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Lewisville.
