April Lynn Hewlett

Sept. 26, 1982 – Feb. 13, 2025

April Lynn Hewlett went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 13th in Seoul, South Korea. April was born September 26, 1982 in Tampa Florida. She has lived in Florida, Texas and Seoul.

April attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie Texas and graduated with a degree in cross cultural missions and a minor in psychology.

April loved to travel and was able to travel to several different countries on mission trips in High School and College. She also traveled extensively while living in Asia.

April first went to Korea to teach English, she also helped develop both printed and video materials for English as a second language and most recently branched out into Voice Over Acting, which she loved and was very good at.

April loved to play cards and games, karaoke and improv. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She was active in Jubilee church in Seoul and made many special friendships there. She was full of life and energy and she brought joy to each life she touched. Her bubbly personality and beautiful smile will be greatly missed.

April is survived by her mother, Linda Barnes, her step father, Kent Barnes, her aunt and uncle Theresa and Michael McNally and many cousins who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her father, Alan Hewlett, her grandparents Oscar and Dorothy Hewlett and Raymond and Patricia Ste. Marie, her aunt Dorothy Bonnell, and her uncles Ronald & Richard Ste. Marie.

A celebration of life will be held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville Texas on Saturday, March 1st at 10am.
