dragon, I was and still am devastated. I feel some measure of guilt as we have lost touch, from your days back at Ringling and I find out you made it as a wonderful professional. We have so much to talk about and I will see you again someday, in the meantime I keep you alive in my drawings, you have always been my muse ladycassi

Cassie, I just found out. I've been a wreck all day. Things definitely didn't end well between us, and it's been a long time since we talked, but I truly hope you're at peace now. I remember the good and the bad times with you and cherish it all. I'm glad we spent the time we did together, and I'm so sorry your journey ended the way it did. I'll keep you in my thoughts forever.

She was my greatest accomplishment in Life. She was my greatest gift to this world. She was my best friend. And she was my life. I believe that a light shines in all of us. And my light died with cassi. I love you baby girl... until forever. mama

Although I never got to meet Cassi, simply hearing others speak so highly of her and listening to them share some of their stories about her caused her to touch my life anyway.

I bawled at the memorial that was held for her at Anime Festival Wichita this past weekend. I had no idea how much she loved animals, especially all of them that belonged to her. Being an animal person myself, hearing that really hit home.

I hope that wherever she is now, she is in a better place. Rest in peace, Cassandra Hodges. You will be missed a great deal.

Cassi was a wonderful and beautiful girl. She had alot of love, and was always a joy to know. She had a very nice smile, and always looked like the happiest girl in the world. The world and everyone will miss her.

My heart hurts in knowing that I will not see / talk to Cassie again. She was a beautiful and caring person that put other peoples needs first. Her laughter / smile showed that she loved life. Her love for animals was a truely a blessing to see.

My sympathies go out to her mother Sandra and the rest of her family. You are in my thoughts and prayers everyday.

You were so full of life and energy, and such a warm and welcoming person. The world got a bit darker once you left it, but wherever you are, I hope you are at peace and rest easy. We'll miss you Cassi!

Cassasndra, I only knew you for a little while, but I got to know you in that brief time for the beautiful soul you are. You are missed by all and we all ache with grief and hurt deeply for you and your mother. May you rest in peace.
